Overview
Edit
Despite its description, the SG550 has relatively low recoil. It is a very accurate weapon; it has the third highest accuracy out of all assault rifles (the M14 CAMO being second with 91-point accuracy, and the AN-94 and the SG556 MARK II being first, with 92-point accuracy.) While looking through a scope and standing still, the SG550 will shoot with absolute precision up to the end of its maximum range.
It boasts an impressive rate of fire that outclasses the cycle rate of other assault rifles.
Regarding its power, the SG550 is a weak 4-hit kill (similar to the FAMAS). Its killspeed may increase at long range, but this is mitigated by all of the weapon's aforementioned advantages.
The SG550 is not optimal in close quarters for multiple reasons:
- Its portability is mediocre, and is comparable to that of the AK-47.
- It has a wide hipfire spread.
- Its magazine holds 20 rounds and is slow to change
Specifically, it is not optimized for hipfiring while moving.

Trivia
Edit
- Contrary to many other assault rifles, when jumping with this weapon, the spread barely gets any larger.
