Pre-attached Red-dot Sight
|“||Developed as a personal defense weapon (PDW), this compact, bullpup-style submachine gun uses 5.7mm ammo and is known for its high rate of fire.||”|
|— The Arsenal|
Its main features are the built-in reflex sight, a high capacity magazine housing 50 rounds, high rate of fire, pinpoint accuracy, and negligible recoil. The hefty price tag of 1100 GP on the P90 makes it more costly than any other automatic firearm that is not a light/medium machine gun, but this money goes towards the scope (which is usually 150GP) and the extra ammo per magazine. It should be considered that the P90 essentially has more ammo per magazine than most submachine guns or assault rifles fitted with an Extended Magazine (which costs 200GP-400GP). The only exception for this is the UMP, which combined with the Extended Magazine II, gives it 50 bullets per magazine. Nevertheless, this actually means that the P90, along with its features, come at a lower cost than other (customized) guns.
To compensate for its high rate of fire and large magazine capacity, it only has 50 rounds of backup ammo and no Extended Magazine option. The P90 also reloads much slower than other SMGs, although this is probably to balance out the increased ammo count per magazine with a longer reload time.

- The P90 and the P90 SE are the only weapons in Combat Arms that have a special integrated ITech Reflex Sight when zoomed in.
- As of the most recent patch, there is a glitch where the reflex sight on top of the P90 isn't functional or is changed to another scope, mainly the ACOG. This may be a place holder for a new scope design for the P90.
