"Jogging" (not to be confused with Sprinting) is the default pace that each player moves at.

Because it is a natural speed, jogging is faster than Walking yet slower than Sprinting. And unlike the latter, it does not consume any Stamina

Reason[]

Throughout the world of Combat Arms, many situations call for immediate and neccessary action. As such, it is considered vital that the soldiers of CA move at a quick of a pace as possible.

Overview[]

Unlike the other types of movements in the game, the only buttons the players have to press are the directional keys "W A S D" (default keys). It is the most basic movement in the game, without the need of other buttons to operate and should probably be one of the first things players get used to in their initial moments of playing.

While jogging, the player's character is moving in an upright stance with their weapon/item in a ready position (unless they begin switching weapons through their on-body inventory). The player can engage targets while they jog, however, the accuracy of the firearm is automatically lowered, while the recoil statistic increases. To avoid multiple misses and the waste of ammunition, they either have to control their aim more carefully, or go into a stance where accuracy is better and recoil is not as overpowering.

Like Sprinting, the speed of the player jogging is determined by the portability of the item that's currently in their hands, and the Speed gain/loss percentage of the gear that's on them. For example, a player with a pistol in their hands while wearing light vest and a military bandana will jog faster than a player with a machine gun in their hands while wearing a balanced vest and an advanced backpack.

Trivia[]

  • Shooting while jogging contributes the second-most worse accuracy and recoil in any other stance, only topped by shooting while jumping.
