Idle (or AFK) is a term given to players who do not respond to a situation on the computer. This may be a result of being away from the computer, or the program that he/she is using is taking too long to load.

In Combat Arms, a player will have their status marked as 'Idle' when they do not move their mouse for around 2-3 minutes in the lobby. Idle players (including hosts) in rooms will be kicked out of a game and into the game lobby after retaining an idle status for two consecutive minutes.

  • Formerly, if a player pressed the 'ESC' button, the 'Idle' message would appear as their status.
  • People often say AFK (Away From Keyboard) often instead of idle when informing others of their pending absence.
