With a 20 round clip, and a selective automatic firing mode, the Glock 18 is a machine pistol with deadly capabilities. Numerous improvements over the Glock 17, such as vented slits across the barrel, make this a perfect tool for suppressing enemies in close quarters.

Overview

The G18 Cobra is the first fully automatic pistol released outside the Desert Eagle series. The G18 Cobra accepts suppressor and optical sight attachments but does not accept any magazine modifications for balancing reasons. It comes with a 20/20 ammo capacity. The G18 Cobra has two firing modes, semi and fully automatic. It has an extremely fast draw rate where it can be pulled out in desperate situations (such as reloading). It is often compared to the Bushmaster Type 97, another automatic pistol with a 20 round clip. However, the G18 Cobra trades 20 extra rounds, 2 points of Rate of Fire, and 5 points of accuracy for 23 points of Portability, and 12 less points of recoil.

Trivia

  • As of this weapon's release, the G18 has a long-awaited variant.
  • The G18 Cobra is actually the second Pistol to have a fully automatic firing mode, the first being the Desert Eagle Series.
  • When suppressed, it features the firing noise of a suppressed SMG instead of the usual suppressed pistol sound.
  • This is currently the longest pistol in the game, in terms of length.
  • The G18 actually fires faster than the G18 Cobra, though the difference in fire rate is hardly noticeable.
  • It is also the first and only pistol to have a stock, and second pistol to have a foregrip.
  • The sprinting animation is much the same as the Desert Eagle and variants.
  • The slide of this weapon reads "Glock 18C Austria 9x19mm"
    • This would identify this weapon as a Glock 18C and not just a Glock 18.
