The Maverick Helmet is a cosmetic item that was first leaked on the Developer's Blog, and was then officially released on the 9/19/12 Patch.
Overview[]
The Maverick Helmet is, in fact, a head gear that resembles a helmet, but does not give any boosts like headshot protection as it is a cosmetic item. There are also three options for players to choose from, as with most cosmetic items.
Trivia[]
- On its release, a sample of the cosmetic items, including the Maverick Helmet, was given out for free during the Cosmetic Sampler Event.
- Its name is a reference to the main character of the movie Top Gun.
