Sniper Rifles are "One shot , One kill weapons" (although only the L96, L115, TRG, TPG, DSR, M107 and M200 series have this trait aside from headshots). Some of them are bolt action, while others are semi-automatic and a few are even automatic. All bolt actions can penetrate one person and hit another. It is possible, however, to get 2 headshots from a single bullet with semi-auto and automatic sniper rifles.

Sniper rifles have high accuracy and damage, the most popular being the L96, which can one-hit kill an enemy at nearly any range, except at extreme distances.
