Secondary Weapons are weapons that can be drawn out from the 2nd slot. They CANNOT be picked up by other players. Currently, Pistols are the only type of Secondary weapons.
Shotguns were once considered as Secondary weapons, but after numerous complaints, they were then promoted to Primary status.
Unfortunately, it only took a few years before players started to complain how they missed having secondary-slot shotguns. So as a result, Nexon (for a limited time only) released special secondary-slot versions of the basic shotguns (such as the Double Barrel and M590 Military) as event rewards.
